Teachers Come Together for Education

     More than 100 educators from the Leeward Coast participated in INPEACE's P-3 Wai'anae Project's Elementary & Early Childhood Cross Collaboration Conference at the Ihilani Resort at Koolina in early October.   Participants included early childhood educators as well as elementary school teachers. 

       The event provided participants with professional development opportunities and several break out sessions.  The breakout sessions focused on Brain Development, Early Childhood Development, Experiential Learning, Kindergarten Transitions and Shared Language. Both groups came together to cross collaborate on how to bridge the gap between the early learning and K-12 systems.
