Georgiana Alvaro, Esq.

Vice President

A native Hawaiian who has lived most of her life in Windward O‘ahu.  She is a product of Kamehameha Schools, Georgetown College and the Richardson School of Law. She has been involved with INPEACE as a member of the Board of Directors for nearly ten years. She brings to the Board her back ground knowledge of working for the Hawaii State Teachers Association in the Leeward District for the past thirteen (13) years.  She works with teachers who teach pre‐K through high school throughout the District. Because of the growth of homeless problems in the District, she was part of a team who developed a course for teachers in “Teaching the Disadvantaged Students in the Leeward District.”  This is a popular course and teachers who have participated indicate that they have learned many valuable insights  to the problems their students face daily.
