Free Programs offered through INPEACE

  • Keiki Steps - Family-Child interaction program available to families with children ages 0-5
  • Keiki Steps to Kindergarten - 3 week transition program offered in the summer to children entering kindergarten
  • SPARK (Supporting Parents to Assure Ready Kids) - Incorporating culturally appropriate practices, providing seamless transition for children entering kindergarten
  • Ka Lama Education Academy - Provides counseling and support services to those interested in obtaining an Associates Degree through Leeward Community College and/or Bachelors Degree in Education

Program Focus

  • Professional Development - Child Development Associates (CDA), Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree in Education, quality enhancements through SPARK for elementary schools to implement culturally appropriate teaching methods
  • Preschool accreditation and standards implementation
  • Parent Education - through workshops, activities and materials
Through its free direct service programs, Keiki Steps, SPARK, Keiki Steps to Kindergarten and Ka Lama Education Academy, INPEACE offers families important education options.
